Legal
Legal & privacy
Three things you may want from this page: the Software License Agreement that governs your use of the library, the privacy policy for the website you are reading right now, and our position on trademarks.
Software License Agreement
The RockyGuard Software License Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your use of the library. Sections cover: definitions, license grant, restrictions (including no-reverse-engineering with the appropriate statutory carve-out), ownership and intellectual property, fees and payment, term and termination, warranties and disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, data and privacy, and standard general provisions.

The Agreement applies the moment you accept the vendor license file we email you, or the moment you install or use the library — whichever happens first.

What this page covers
This policy describes how the website at rockyguard.dev
handles your data. The handling of data by the RockyGuard library and CLI tools
themselves is governed by Section 11 of the Software License Agreement; this
page does not duplicate that.
What we collect
- ›Contact form submissions. When you submit the form on /contact, we receive your name, email, optional company, message text, and the reason you selected. We use this only to reply to you. We do not enter you into any mailing list and we do not share or sell this data.
- ›Edge logs. Cloudflare (our CDN / hosting provider) keeps short-lived edge logs that include source IP and request path. These logs exist for abuse-prevention and operational diagnostics; we do not aggregate, profile, or sell from them. Cloudflare's standard privacy practices apply on top of this policy.
What we do NOT collect
- ×No cookies are set by this site. No localStorage, no sessionStorage, no fingerprinting.
- ×No third-party trackers. No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixel. No session replay.
- ×No newsletter signups, no marketing automation, no remarketing pixels.
Email handling
Contact-form messages are delivered to our inbox via a transactional email provider (Resend). We retain the inbox messages indefinitely as part of normal business correspondence. You may request deletion of any prior message by emailing hello@rockyguard.dev; we will delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
You may request a copy of any data we hold about you, or its deletion, at any time. Email privacy@rockyguard.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be flagged on the home page. We will not change the policy retroactively in a way that downgrades your existing protections.
